Salsa Simposium, Madrid – Frankie-ly speaking…A dream routine!!!
The dream routine:Reach the party at 11 pm, shows start at midnight, non-stop shows (no MC, no breaks), dance till 6 am and WORKSHOPS START AT 2 PM next day!!!! Isn’t that simply PURRRRFECT! No wonder the workshops were packed from the beginning... more

crys206 wrote on Aug 2, '10 Thanks for the blog...I've now managed to convince myself that traveling nine hours a week from Kingston (where the salsa scene is non-existent and jaws drop at the sight of a double-turn) to Toronto just to social dance and take lessons is worth the dwindling bank balance. My career plans have altered from pursuing a Phd in salsaless-land to one in Toronto or not at all.....I'm Indian and my relatives think it's ridiculous :) Honestly, the word 'salsaholic' wasn't coined for nothing. Shukriyaji for the inspiration! |
